Original Equipment Manufacturer — the airframe, engine, or component maker.

An OEM part is one supplied by the Original Equipment Manufacturer. PartsPerk is independent: references to OEMs describe parts buyers commonly request, never an affiliation or authorization. Suppliers may carry independent distributor or repair-station relationships, but PartsPerk does not assert OEM authorization on supplier profiles unless the supplier publishes the underlying contract.
