- TAA-compliant
- End product is wholly the growth, product, or manufacture of, or substantially transformed in, a designated country listed at FAR 25.003.
- Buy American
- Domestic end product per FAR 25.003 — manufactured in the U.S. with the cost of components mined, produced, or manufactured in the U.S. exceeding the threshold in effect (currently 65 %, scheduled to rise to 75 % per the 2022 final rule).
- Berry Amendment
- DoD requirement that certain items (food, clothing, fabrics, hand tools) be wholly of U.S. origin — see 10 U.S.C. § 4862 and DFARS 252.225-7012.
- Specialty metals
- DFARS 252.225-7008 / 7009 specialty-metals restrictions apply to titanium, nickel, cobalt, and certain steels in covered DoD items.
How we handle country-of-origin
- Country-of-origin captured at the line level from the supplier's COC and OEM source.
- TAA-designated-country verification is part of supplier onboarding for federal lanes.
- Buy American component-cost determinations are documented when BAA applies to a contract.
- Specialty-metals lines on DoD orders cite an applicable DFARS 252.225-7009 exception or are sourced from qualifying countries.
- Mis-marked or non-conforming country-of-origin findings trigger immediate quarantine and customer notification.
Certifications we provide
- Written TAA certification per FAR 52.225-6 on solicitations where TAA applies.
- Buy American certification per FAR 52.225-2 on domestic-end-product orders.
- Berry Amendment / specialty-metals certifications when DoD requires.
- Customer-specific country-of-origin attestations on commercial orders on request.
What we will not do
We will not provide a false COO
If we cannot establish country-of-origin to TAA / BAA / Berry standards, we decline the line on federal-bound supply rather than misrepresent origin. Misrepresentation of country-of-origin is a federal offense (19 U.S.C. § 1304; 18 U.S.C. § 1001).
